About Me

I'm Chris Wilson, I'm 22 and I've just graduated with a first class Masters degree in Animation at Sheffield Hallam University. I've always been a huge fan of Disney, Warner Bros., Pixar and basically any other animation I could get my hands on as a kid so it was an obvious choice for me to make it a career.

Art has always been a big part of my life, I've been drawing everything since before I can remember and so the artistic side of animation really appeals to me. I enjoy writing when I get the chance and I like to try all different aspects of filmmaking.

Ideally, within 5 years of graduating I want to be working in the US. Living and working in the UK has never really been where I've pictured myself in the long term as American film, television and animation have been so important to me growing up and helped me develop my art and writing greatly.

I'm currently working in CG, mostly on 3DS Max but have started experimenting with both hand drawn animation and visual effects, the latter of which I've decided is the field I would like to work in.
